Bolfo Gold is a revolutionary new flea treatment. The active ingredient imidacloprid kills fleas on your dog immediately and protects against new infestations for four weeks. Bolfo Gold is safe for your pet, easy to apply to the skin, and spreads quickly over the entire animal.
Read the package leaflet before use.
When to use
For the prevention and treatment of fleas in dogs weighing 10 kg to less than 25 kg. For dogs weighing less than 10 kg or 25 kg or more, use the appropriate Bolfo Gold flea drops for dogs. Fleas present on the dog are killed within one day of application. A single treatment protects against the development of a flea population for four weeks. The product can be used as part of a control strategy for flea allergy dermatitis.
Restriction of use
Do not use in unweaned puppies less than 8 weeks old.
Method of administration
Remove a tube from its packaging. Hold the tube upright, twist, and remove the cap. Replace the cap upside down, twist to break the seal, and remove the cap again.
With a standing dog, part the hair between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
Place the open end of the tube on the skin and squeeze the tube firmly several times to empty the contents directly onto the skin.
Apply only to undamaged skin. Do not allow recently treated animals to lick each other.
Side effects
The product has a bitter taste, and salivation may sometimes occur if the dog licks the application site immediately after treatment. This is not a sign of intoxication and disappears within a few minutes without treatment. Correct administration minimizes the opportunity for the dog to lick the product.

No primary embryotoxic, teratogenic, or reproductive toxic effects were observed during studies with imidacloprid in rats and rabbits. Studies on pregnant and lactating bitches and their offspring are limited. The evidence thus far suggests that no adverse effects are expected in these animals.
No interactions were observed after administering double the recommended dose of this product with commonly used veterinary medicinal products containing fenthion, lufenuron, milbemycin, febantel, pyrantel, or praziquantel.
