🧴 Why coat care is so important for Labradoodles
A Labradoodle's coat is no ordinary dog coat. It's a mix of wool and hair textures, often without an undercoat. This makes it:

- Dirt is not shed by itself , so regular washing and blowing is necessary

✅ Step-by-step care routine (incl. product tips)
1. Brushing (at least 2-3 times a week)
Use a Show Tech+ brush with flexible bristles. Always work layer by layer, starting with the legs. Don't forget the armpits and groin—that's where mats often form.
💡 Tip: Make it fun! Place your doodle on a non-slip mat and use a LickiMat with peanut butter as a distraction.
2. Detangle with spray
For stubborn tangles, use Chris Christensen Ice on Ice spray . Spray on, let it sit for a moment, and then gently brush it out with a wide-toothed comb.
3. Washing (every 4–6 weeks)
Use a mild shampoo like Yuup! Sensitive Skin . It's free of parabens, SLS, and silicones. Don't forget to rinse thoroughly!
4. Drying with a water blower
A regular hairdryer doesn't reach the base layer well. Therefore, choose a Phoenix Zephir water blower . Always blow in the direction of hair growth to prevent tangles.
5. Update with scissors
Use thinning scissors to trim the face, feet, and tangles that can no longer be brushed out.
